I think the reason that Obama won was because the American people had already seen eight years of the Republicans and they had seen enough to judge and to carry in their minds as they walked into the voting station. The people were and are ready for a change and this conclusion was evident with the popular vote.
Obama won New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. I think that I knew that Obama would win because the majority of America are immigrants or children f immigrants and that is the majority of his voters. The only doubt that I had was that some how the votes would not exactly match the polls. I think that people outside of America were happy to hear of Obama's victory because they saw him as more able to communicate successfully with.
