The newspaper endorsement on Senator Obama was straight forward and to the point because it stated the strong attributes that he could bring to our nation. They spoke of the comparison between him and President Bush.
The newspaper endorsement on Senator McCain spoke of how Senator McCain agreed with Senator Obama but he saw that he could do more. It seemed as if it was Senator McCain speaking himself because if you look at the debates you can see him comparing himself to what Senator Obama has done and who he is and then explaining what he thinks he can do better. It seemed as if Senator McCain had wrote it himself and just mailed it to the newspaper.
I think that Senator Obama's endorsement was more believable because it got straight to the point of him wanting to be President and what he can do for America. Senator McCain's endorsement seemed to be more glossy with words and expressions that seemed to be too much.
I think that they both represent a good argument in their own way but I was more convinced with Senator Obama's endorsement because he stuck to himself and what he wanted to do unlike McCain who went back and forth describing his differences with Senator Obama instead of directly speaking about what he could do for America if he won the election for presidency.

The Electoral College
The Electoral College represents a system that overpowers the voting system for the presidential election. It shows a majority because it is accounted for by the number of people in power(in the government). These are the people who vote and who's vote actually matters. Basically, it is the people in the high government that makes the final decision on which way the votes should sway. It is said that they take the peoples popular vote into consideration but the only vote that really rules in their head is their own, so they compound that with the various and numerous opinions of the people.
I think the Electoral College is pointless because it makes the peoples voice with their votes useless. The people should have a say in who rules and runs their country. It is the people who are the majority so they should have the majority ruling. I think that the government is too connected within itself to follow all the rules without getting caught up in friendships and sides of politics.

Mayor Bloomberg and Term Limits
" Mayor Bloomberg said he will run for a third term as mayor of NYC."
With this said, I can only say that him running will create both good and bad issues.
The good is that he has proven to show himself as a person capable of running a portion of our country, so maybe he can come back and do it again.
The bad is that with the decision to open up another term for mayors, other mayors might comeback to protest that, maybe, they should run again. Also other sections of the government may come back to ask to increase the number of terms that they can serve, like presidents(who we -as the people- don't want coming back).
I say "If he's capable, then let'm at it."
*Term Limits:
- President of the US.-2 terms
- US Senate.-unlimited
- US House of Representatives.-3 or 4 terms
- Supreme Court Justice.-approxiamtely 15 term
- Governor of New York.-4 terms
- Mayor of Los Angeles.-2 terms
